Hunter Yurachek

Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics, University of Arkansas

Mr. Hunter Yurachek serves as Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics. Named to the position by Chancellor Joseph Steinmetz on December 4, 2017, Yurachek leads one of the nation’s most successful intercollegiate athletics programs encompassing 465 student-athletes competing in 19 sports. Razorback Athletics is among a small number of financially self-sustaining athletics programs in the nation.

Prior to arriving at Arkansas, Yurachek served as Director of Athletics at the University of Houston (2015-17) and Coastal Carolina University (2010-14). He has also worked within intercollegiate athletics at the University of Akron, the University of Virginia, Western Carolina University, Vanderbilt University and Wake Forest University.

In April 2020, Yurachek was named by Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson to the Arkansas Economic Recovery Task Force, to help guide state reopening in the wake of COVID-19. He is also a member of the NCAA Football Competition Committee.

Yurachek earned his bachelor’s degree in business management at Guilford College in 1990, where he was a four-year letter winner in basketball. He earned his master’s degree in sports administration from the University of Richmond in 1994.

Megan crozier

Executive Vice President and Chief Merchant, Sam’s Club

Megan Crozier became the Chief Merchant at Sam’s Club in September 2019. In this role, she leads a cross-functional team of merchants, pharmacists and product managers who are focused on curating the best assortment for members.

Before joining Sam’s Club, Megan was the Senior Vice President and General Merchandise Manager of Packaged Goods for Walmart U.S. She became a merchant in 2005 and has experience buying for various categories including, electronics, frozen food and dry grocery.

She started her career as an engineer in the Walmart grocery distribution center in Temple, Texas. Gaining a deep understanding of the supply chain and replenishment business provided valuable insights that continue to serve her today.

Megan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Oklahoma State University. When not at work, she and her husband, Ryan, can be found spending quality time with their two young daughters.

Greg Williams

Current Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, Nabholz Construction

Current Chief Executive Officer and Chairman Greg Williams began his career at Nabholz in 1991. He has served as the firm’s CEO since 2014, then in a joint CEO and Chairman role since 2019. During his tenure as CEO, Nabholz’ annual revenue has nearly tripled, and the company has enjoyed four consecutive record revenue years. Williams also oversaw several key acquisitions in new business sectors, including solar and rail transit, and the opening of new locations in Tulsa, Connecticut, North Little Rock, and Central Tennessee. Additionally, though employee numbers have increased, the company continues to pay 100% of employees’ health insurance premiums, owing in large part to Williams’ vision of a comprehensive wellness program. 

Williams holds a degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, is a certified public accountant, a Paul Harris Fellow, and a past recipient of the Arkansas Business Large Private Company CFO of the Year award. He currently serves on the St. Joseph Parish Finance Council, the University of Arkansas – Little Rock Foundation Board, and the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce Board and Executive Committee. 

Williams will serve solely as Chairman, effective January 1st, 2022, with Jake Nabholz stepping into the CEO role.

Jake Nabholz

Incoming CEO, Nabholz Construction

Recently named Nabholz’ next Chief Executive Officer, Jake Nabholz began his 23-year tenure with the company working as a summer laborer while in high school. After graduating with his construction management degree from the University of Louisiana Monroe, his career advanced within Nabholz, and he later served in business development and leadership roles in Tulsa and Central Arkansas. In 2018, he was promoted to the position of regional president, overseeing construction operations in Central and Northeast Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Oklahoma. 

Mr. Nabholz currently serves on the Arkansas Children’s Foundation Board, Philander Smith College Board of Trustees, Conway Corp Board of Directors, and with the Associated General Contractors of Arkansas. He is part of the third generation of the Nabholz family to work at the company, following the path of his grandfather, company founder Bob Nabholz, and father, current Executive Vice President David Nabholz.

Mr. Nabholz will officially step into the chief executive officer role on January 1st, 2022.

Heather Nelson

Co-Founder + President, Seal Solar 

Heather Nelson is co-founder and president of Seal Solar and a former corporate lender for some of the nation’s largest banks. Under her leadership, the local solar design and installation firm has completed more than 450, or approximately one in five, renewable energy projects in the  state. Thanks to an innovative partnership with Evolve Auto, it is now one of the only businesses  in the U.S. that is able to provide fully solar-powered ecosystems, including panels, batteries,  electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and EVs, in one transaction.  

Heather is the incoming board chair for the Arkansas Advanced Energy Association (AAEA) and currently serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She is  on the AAEA Distributed Generation Task Force, Arkansas History Commission, Junior  Achievement of Arkansas Board of Directors, and UA Little Rock Foundation Fund Board. She  regularly travels to Haiti with the Global Orphan Project of Kansas City, Missouri. She  previously served two terms on the National Board of Directors for the Arkansas Alumni  Association and as president of the Sam M. Walton College of Business Alumni Society.  

In 2021, she received the Business Executive of the Year Award at the Arkansas Business of the  Year Awards sponsored by Arkansas Business. In 2019, she received the Entrepreneur of the  Year Award from her alma mater, the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton College of  Business. An Arkansas native, she also holds an MBA from the University of Arkansas at Little  Rock.

MARTA LOYD

CEO, Winthrop Rockefeller Institute

Dr. Marta Loyd Has Served As Executive Director Of The Winthrop Rockefeller Institute Since 2014. Under Her Leadership And Guidance, The Institute’s Mission Has Been Strengthened And Clarified To Focus On The Rockefeller Ethic, A Unique Approach To Collaborative Problem Solving As Modeled By Gov. Winthrop Rockefeller. As A Team, She And Her Staff Have Strengthened External Partnerships, Nearly Doubled The Number Of Program Offerings, Implemented An Evaluation System To Measure Impact, Instituted Core Values Into The Organization And Secured The Gov. Winthrop Rockefeller Endowment Which Will Fund Operations For The Institute. 

Prior To Joining The Institute, She Spent 17 Years Working At The University Of Arkansas-Fort Smith, 12 Of Those Serving As Vice Chancellor For University Advancement And As Executive Director Of The UAFS Foundation. During Her Tenure At UAFS, She Led The Effort To Raise Gifts And Pledges Totaling $57 Million, Increasing Total Assets Of The Foundation From $20 Million To Nearly $80 Million. Prior To Taking The Helm Of The UAFS Foundation, Loyd, A Former Dental Hygienist, Led The Effort To Start The Dental Hygiene School At Then Westark College.

In Her Community, Dr. Loyd Has Served As Board Member For The Morrilton Area Chamber Of Commerce And The Petit Jean Mountain Community Association, And Recently Completed Her Term On The Federal Reserve Board Of St. Louis’ Community Development Advisory Council. 

 Dr. Loyd Holds A Master Of Education Degree From The University Of Arkansas And A Doctor Of Education Degree From The University Of Missouri. She Also Completed The Institute For Educational Management At Harvard University. She And Her Husband, Greg, Have Been Married For 35 Years And Have Three Adult Children And Four Grandchildren.
