As one of the first hires at Big River Steel in 2014, Trammell helped her new parent company, United States Steel Corporation, embark on a multi-phased expansion. Trammell worked on the capital project team taking primary responsibility for land acquisition contracts. She helped make Big River Steel the first ResponsibleSteel steel mill in North America.
